Bhatiyara community is generally found in abundance in western Uttar Pradesh of India. The job of the Bhatiyara community is generally to cook food on a bhatti or tandoor. Other work is ownership of the inn.

More than fifteen hundred inns in India are still under the Bhatiyara community.  The word Bhatiara actually comes from Batiya.  Which means narrow path which used to show the way to the lost people.
History- When Babar attacked Bajaur in 1519, along with him were 27 families of Bhatiyara community who used to show him the way.
And they used to arrange food for his soldiers in the inn, although today the Bhatiyara community has lagged behind.
