- Holotype: AUM 40669, ♀, collected by S.P. Graham, D.A. Steen and C. Kelehear on 8 June 2014.
- Type locality: “A shallow (< 1m depth) marsh near Florala, Alabama, on the Walton County, Florida portion of Lake Jackson. The marsh is separated from the open water of the lake to the northeast by swamp and a low dike and road”.
