Urs-e-Shahji[1] is a 5-day festival celebrated commemorating the death anniversary of Qutub-e-Pilibhit Shahji Muhammad Sher Miyan annually. It is celebrated at Dargah-e-Shahji in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh.[2][3][4] Meraj Miyan Sheri is the Sajjada nashin of Dargah-e-Shahji.[5]
Rituals
Qul Sharif
The Qul Sharif is organized during the 5-day urs program at the Dargah, the Sajjada nashin is responsible for the ritual.
Chadar Peshi
A Colorful Chadar, a piece of cloth is kept over the Mazaar of the saint on Urs.
