Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali is an Indian Hindi-language television drama series that premiered on 15 February 2021 on StarPlus.^[1] It is loosely based on the Star Maa's Telugu series Gorintaku.^[2] Produced by SOL Productions and Sandiip Films, it stars Shivangi Khedkar and Sai Ketan Rao.^[3]

Plot

The story revolves around the life of Pallavi Deshmukh, the widowed daughter-in-law of the Deshmukh family. Yet, the family considers her as their own daughter except Sulochana and Amruta who were the wife and daughter of Pallavi's husband's uncle Milind Deshmukh. Pallavi runs the Deshmukh Saree Emporium on behalf of her father in law Vijay Deshmukh. Things went well until Raghav Rao, a business magnate, came into Pallavi's life. Raghav was arrogant and reckless causing them to misunderstand each other's personalities.

Later, it is revealed that the accountant working in Pallavi' s shop is Keerti, who is Raghav's sister. Keerti and her mother Jaya live separately with Raghav due to some past incidents. Raghav tortures Pallavi by misunderstanding that his mother and sister were defamed because of Pallavi. To avenge Pallavi he created evidences to defame Pallavi that he is having a non marital affair with Pallavi. By this Vijay disowns Pallavi and outs her from the house.

Jaya by knowing Pallavi's state demanded Raghav to marry Pallavi if he want them to get back with him. To live with Jaya and Keerti, Raghav proposed Pallavi who reject it without any thought. But Raghav blackmailed Pallavi by putting her brother in law Nikhil in jail. To save Nikhil, Pallavi marries Raghav. After the marriage Jaya and Keerti shifts to Raghav's house. Pallavi became more bold to deal with an arrogant Raghav.

Later Raghav realised the truth that actually Sulochana is the person who defamed Keerti and Jaya. After knowing the truth Pallavi returns to Kolhapur but a guilt ridden Raghav stops her by asking a chance of one month to become a good husband for her. Pallavi agrees the condition. While these days Pallavi and Raghav comes closer and Raghav fell in love with Pallavi. Pallavi got know the fact that Raghav's father died because of a crowd attack that caused by a failed financial business of Raghav. That's why Keerti and Jaya parted from him.

Pallavi clears the misunderstanding with Raghav and Jaya. At this time Keerti's lover, Sunny comes, while Sulochana plots against Raghav and Pallavi which made them more closer. The Rao family rejects Keerti and Sunny's relationship because of his bad nature. Later Pallavi digs the accident of her ex-husband Mandar. Later it is revealed that Mandar met with the accident because of Sunny and Pallavi sends him to jail. By that Keerti started to consider Pallavi as her enemy.

Then it is revealed that Mandar still alive and Pallavi brought him back to the Deshmukh family. Mandar makes many misunderstandings between Pallavi and Raghav to get Pallavi. Meanwhile, Raghav and Pallavi confessed their love for each other. Raghav and Pallavi exposed Mandar in front of the family that he stalked Pallavi during her college days and he killed Pallavi's best friend, Devyani to get her and also tried to kill his own mother by pushing her from terrace for supporting Raghav and Pallavi.

Sunny and Keerti elope and Raghav and Jaya blamed Pallavi for the matter which later solved. But Keerti and sunny came to Raghav's house to live and sunny irked the family in every way. Meanwhile Pallavi get to know Raghav smuggles a diamond, during an encounter with Raghav and police. Pallavi get shot. By tasting the pain of losing Pallavi, Raghav stopped the smuggling.

Then Raghav's ex-girlfriend Esha came who just wanted the money of Raghav made Pallavi believe that she and Raghav slept together. A heartbroken Pallavi breaks all ties with Raghav. But later Pallavi found that Esha is framing Raghav and she exposed her with the help of Raghav and Sunny.

And the show ended with Pallavi and Raghav remarrying with the blessings and love of their respected families. And Sulochana, Amruta and Manasi became good to others. Keerti and Sunny accepted by the Rao family and Keerti become pregnant.
