Premise

Embracing a quiet life after her divorce, a single mother and her son move to a quaint hill station. While there, she falls in love with a man with secrets of his own.

Plot

Kirti, an aspiring author and the fan of poet Malhar, moves to Panchgani with her son, to live in her uncle and aunt's house, after her divorce. At Panchgani, Kirti's friend Anjali is in a secret relationship with Vikrant, a respectable chemistry teacher, who also runs a local school. When Anjali starts to take control in their relationship, Vikrant kills and buries her body with the help of Bittu, a local.

When Anjali's body is found, Kirti vows to find the culprit and Vikrant offers her help. But, he manages to manipulate police investigation and destroy evidences. However, Kirti deduces the killer is Anjali's secret boyfriend and makes progress in her investigation.

Vikrant is shown to be speaking to a photo, which might be his friend, where he mentions killing 11 other girls before Anjali for the friend. His psychopath attitude is more evident as he is shown to keep the photos of all his victims and also keeps a necklace containing the hair of victims. Later, as Ganesh, a carpenter learns the truth of Vikrant, he is killed by the latter in a crowded public place. As Vikrant and Kirti grow closer, they find comfort in each other and Vikrant is touched by her selflessness that he falls in love with her.

Kirti reveals her past to Vikrant and it's revealed that she left her husband Dev, a cop, as he was abusive. Later, Kirti manages to deduce Bittu's connection with Anjali, gets him arrested, but Vikrant manages to rescue him and put him in captivity.

To deter Kirti from further investigations, Vikrant pretends to hurt Puru, leading Kirti to move from Panchgani. However, Vikrant reaches in time and proposes to Kirti. As they start dating, Vikrant accidentally kills off Ritu, his student. Meanwhile, Dev is transferred to Panchgani police station and starts disturbing Kirti again, leaving him and Vikrant enemies.

Delving to Panchgani missing cases, Dev deduces Vikrant's truth but lacks evidence, which he manages to find in Bittu, who escapes from Vikrant's custody, and Jhanvi who is Ritu's friend, but both are killed by Vikrant. Later when Vikrant and Kirti plan to marry, Dev commits to prove Vikrant as a murderer with evidences. Dev comes home to kill Vikrant but Vikrant kills Dev instantly. Kirti sees Dev's body and Vikrant comes to know so he confesses about his murders, shows split personality spontaneously without having control over it and tries to kill Kirti.
