Note: Cichorieae Portal prefer to maintain the segregation of this genus from Microseris in spite of Uropappus lindleyi being the parent of two putative intergeneric hybrids (Stebbinsoseris species) with two different annual species of Microseris. However, see Hassler and Govaerts (2024) for the opposite opinion and the alternative species are found on the Microseris taxon page.
