Typus: Zollinger 1911 ([26–29] February 1844; Isotypus: A 00051224^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}; cf. P {P04538904^(GBIF), P04538905^(GBIF)} [both without type indication]).
Type locality: [Indonesia.] Java: In monte Pangerango ultra altit. 8000' s. m.

- Impatiens zollingeri Kuntze, Revis. Gen. Pl. 1: 96 (1891), nom. superfl.
  - Note: against I. radicans Benth. (1831), nom. nud., which was validated by J.D. Hooker & Thomson in 1859; Hooker & Thomson's name is currently accepted as I. benthamii Steenis, Bull. Jard. Bot. Buitenzorg, sér. 3, 17(3): 385 (1948), who places I. zollingeri under I. radicans Zoll. & Moritzi (vide infra).
Heterotypic
- Impatiens cyclocoma Miq., Ill. Fl. Archip. Ind.: 92–93 (1870); not accepted by van Steenis (1948) [cited as I. radicans Zoll. & Moritzi], but accepted by Gogoi et al. (2021)
  - Syntypes:
    - Kuhl s.n. (cf. L.2327109 /L 0389622/^(GBIF) [without clear type indication]);
    - Junghuhn s.n. (cf. L {L.2327110 /L 0389623/^(GBIF) ['montis Manellawangie (alt. 9200′.)', seen by Miquel]; L.2327108 /L 0389621/^(GBIF) [without clear type indication]}).
  - Type locality: [Indonesia.] Java:
    - Kuhl: prov de Bogor près de Gedok.
    - Junghuhn: dans les forêts du mont Manellawangi à 9200 pieds [= in the forests of Mount Pangrango at 9200 feet].
