Zorynsk (Ukrainian: Зо́ринськ), is a city in the Alchevsk Raion in Luhansk Oblast (region) of Ukraine. Population: 7,096 (2022 estimate)[1], 7,331 (2013 est.)[2].
Zorynsk has been a city since 1963. From 2014 on, and the War in Donbas (2014–2022), Zorynsk has been controlled by the Luhansk People's Republic.[3] Following the 2022 annexation referendums in Russian-occupied Ukraine, Russia has claimed the territory as part of their LNR / LPR.
