Where is my Train is a smartphone app developed by Google for Indian Railways. The application was created by Sigmoid Labs,[1] a team of former TiVo Corporation developers. The company was acquired by Google[1][2][3] in 2018.

History

Where is my Train app was released in 2015 for Android. It uses cell tower data to track train locations and operates offline, without internet or GPS.[4] In 2018, the app received a nomination for India's Best Apps of 2018 in the Play Store.[5]
