Tomara Thomas is the stage name of Tom Adams,[1] a British drag performer.

Early life and education

Adams started doing drag at age 14.[2] His dance teacher helped him create the name for his drag persona. He attended Manor College and has studied musical theatre.[1][3]

Career

Adams has worked as a professional dancer, including on cruise ships.[1]

Tomara Thomas was part of a drag trio that performed as Interval Act during the semi-finals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023,[4][5] and she is competing on series 5 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK. Tomara Thomas impersonated Robin Williams as Mrs. Doubtfire for the Snatch Game challenge.[6] She is a top three finalist.

Personal life

Adams is from Hartlepool and has lived in London to study musical theatre.[1][7] He moved back to Hartlepool after the COVID-19 pandemic.[3] Adams uses the pronouns he/him out of drag and she/her in drag.[8]
