The Maybe Man Tour is a concert tour and the first arena tour by American pop band AJR in support of their fifth studio album, The Maybe Man (2023).[1][2] It travels across North America. The tour starts on April 2, 2024, in Norfolk, Virginia, and will conclude on August 3, 2024, in Boston, Massachusetts.
Background
In 2021, AJR embarked on the OK Orchestra Tour, taking them to many different continents including Europe and Australia. During the tour, they played their at the time unreleased song "I Won't".[3] After the tour concluded, AJR immediately began teasing their next album, calling it by its working title "TMM".
In August 2023, AJR announced their fifth studio album would be titled The Maybe Man, with a release date of November 3, 2023. The release date was later pushed back to November 10. Three days before the albums release, the band announced that The Maybe Man Tour would take place during 2024, and that it would be their first arena tour.[4] The official dates were announced the next day. AJR stated that this would be their biggest tour to date, with lead singer Jack Met saying that it would include effects and spectacles that "I don't think you've ever seen before".
Philanthropy
$1 for every ticket sold will go towards Planet Reimagined, a non-profit organization co-founded by Adam Met, that trains the climate leaders of the future with customized programs for action-researchers from around the world, teaching them how to combine thought and advocacy for measurable impact to fight the climate crisis and deliver fair solutions for people and the planet.[5]
