Thayamma is an upcoming high budget Tamil language soap opera directed by Vikram Adhityan and produced by Radhika Sarathkumar under Radaan Mediaworks. The show stars Radhika Sarathkumar and Venu Arvind in lead roles. It is scheduled to premiere in 2023.[1][2] The show is to launch on Kalaignar TV.

Production
Development
After Ponni C/O Rani, this is Radaan Mediaworks's second collaboration with Kalaignar TV.[3] After seeing its success along with Kizhakku Vasal's (Star Vijay), Radhika Sarathkumar thought of pleasing the audience with a new soap titled Thayamma.[4] The serial was originally supposed to stream on Podhigai TV, however the satellite rights were later bought by Kalaignar TV.
Casting
The production began smoothly with Radhika Sarathkumar and Venu Arvind being cast in lead roles. Venu Arvind made his comeback after Chandrakumari. Radhika is all set to make her new Tamil TV series where she plays an important role, as a mother struggling with her two daughters. Harshini and Arjun was selected to portray the lead roles. Harshini made her comeback after eighteen years.[5]
