Tetra Tech Coffey is an Australian geotechnical engineering consulting company. Founded in 1959 as Coffey International, it was listed on the Australian Securities Exchange until sold in 2016 to Tetra Tech.
History
Coffey was founded in 1959 by David Coffey in Sydney as Australia’s first geotechnical engineering consulting company. In the 1970s, Coffey expanded overseas opening offices in Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. In 1990, Coffey International was listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.[1] In 2016 it was sold to Tetra Tech and rebranded Tetra Tech Coffey.[2][3][4]
