Sayville High School is located in West Sayville, New York. As of 2023, the high school has around 960 students, 51% male and 49% female.[3] The school was nominated as a National Blue Ribbon School in 2018 for its graduation rate of 98% and 100+ curricular opportunities.[4]

Sayville High School has one of the most prestigious athletic programs for small public schools on Long Island. Sayville football won the 2022 Long Island Championship as well as the Rutgers Cup. XFL quarterback Jack Coan played for Sayville football for his four years of high school. Sayville football lost in the 2023 Long Island Semifinals after an injury was sustained to junior QB Jake Triptree, which led to backup sophomore QB Patrick Coan playing in the semifinals. Patrick Coan however is a very promising young player, being the #3 ranked QB in New York State.

History

In 2022, Stephanie Bricker became the assistant principal of Sayville High School previously being a Spanish teacher for the school since 2002.[5]

In 2023, Johnathan Hart became the new assistant principal of Sayville High School, with previous experience in Rocky Point High School.[5]
