Salvatore Mazzaferro (born October 11, 2001) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a defender for MLS Next Pro club Austin FC II.
Club career
Austin FC
On December 21, 2022, Mazzaferro was selected in the third round of the 2023 MLS SuperDraft by Austin FC. He was the 72nd overall pick for the draft.[1]
Austin FC II
On March 3, 2023, Austin FC announced they had signed Mazzaferro to their newly formed MLS Next Pro team Austin FC II.[2] Mazzaferro was a starting center back for Austin FC II when they won the 2023 MLS Next Pro Cup, beating the Columbus Crew 2 by a score of 3–1.[3]

Born in Canada, Mazzaferro is of Italian descent through his grandparents.[4]
