The 2024 SGB Premiership will be the 89th season of the top tier of British speedway and the 7th known as the SGB Premiership.[1] The league was sponsored by Sports Insure.

The defending champions are Sheffield Tigers and Ipswich Witches are the defending Knockout Cup champions.

Summary

The league will consist of seven teams despite the loss of Peterborough Panthers[2] and Wolverhampton Wolves.[3] They were replaced by Birmingham Brummies, who joined from the Championship (tier 2),[4] as did the Oxford Spires (a third and new team from the Oxford Cheetahs promotion).
