Ramthakur (Bengali: শ্রীশ্রী রামঠাকুর) (2 February 1860 – 1 May 1949), born Ram Chandra Chakraborty (Bengali: রাম চন্দ্র চক্রবর্তী), was a Bengali mystic, yogi, and spiritual master during 19th-century India.[1][2][3][4] He is considered to be the spiritual representation of Lord Krishna. He is known to be Poorna Brahman avatar . Sri Sri Ram Thakur has millions of followers across the world. He is widely worshipped in two forms, Sri Sri Kaibalyanath the Supreme Brahman itself( Granting Kaivalya Moksha ) & Sri Sri Satyanarayana Swamy (For fulfilling wishes of the devotees). There are two major ashrams ,one in Chattogram (Bangladesh) and the other one in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, built by his followers, disciples, where large crowd gather on the occasion of his Birth anniversary and other functions throughout the year. The ashram in Kolkata is located at Jadavpur in South Kolkata and is popularly known as Kaibalyadham.
