PmiRKB is a database of plant miRNAs.[1]
PMIRKB refers to the Plant MicroRNA Knowledge Base. It is a comprehensive online database that provides information about microRNAs (miRNAs) in various plant species. MicroRNAs are small non-coding RNA molecules that play crucial roles in gene regulation and have significant implications for plant development, growth, and response to environmental stimuli.
The PMIRKB database collects and curates miRNA-related information from different sources, including experimental studies, computational predictions, and published literature. It provides data on miRNA sequences, expression patterns, target genes, and functional annotations. Researchers and plant biologists can utilize PMIRKB to explore and analyze miRNA data, discover potential miRNA-target interactions, and gain insights into the regulatory networks in plants.
PMIRKB offers a user-friendly interface with search functionalities, allowing users to query miRNAs and their targets based on various criteria such as species, miRNA ID, gene symbol, and more. It aims to facilitate researchers in understanding the roles of miRNAs in plant biology and accelerating discoveries in plant molecular biology and genetics.
