The Order of Phoxay Lane Xang (Lao: ອິດສະລິຍາພົອນໂພໄຊລ້ານຊ້າງ) is a high honor for the merit in the Phoxay Lane Xang of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
The order is awarded by H.E. The President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith. The order was established in 1992. This medal and its insignia were presented in Prime Minister's speech No. 57/Nor. Yor., on June 22.[1]
Design
Roundish breast badge, gold with enamels, ? mm across, with “hero” style suspension ribbon.
The obverse: two sets of eight shallow points with shallow points in the angles, the outer set in green enamel with a thin chain-like gold design & the inner set being gold, with a central disk in green with a design of a gold stupa and tree on green enamel background, & below on a red ribbon the name of the award in Lao inscription. Suspension: two gold curlicues ending in Lao design flames. The Ribbon is 22mm; blue 2.5mm, red 1.5mm, blue 14mm, red 1.5mm, blue 2.5mm. The material is gold 40% and silver 60%. The total weight = 3.5 Baht (14 sarung) (53.354 gm).[2]
