Naqduz (Persian: نقدوز, also Romanized as Naqdūz; also known as Nīāz)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Naqduz Rural District of Fandoqlu District, Ahar County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 418 in 90 households, when it was in Qeshlaq Rural District of the Central District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 485 people in 130 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 459 people in 140 households.[2]

After the census, the rural district was separated from the district in the establishment of Fandoqlu District, which was divided into two rural districts.[4]
