Mollie Green is an English radio broadcaster, best known for her shows on BBC Radio WM and BBC CWR.[1]

Career

Green is best known for her radio programmes on BBC Radio WM and BBC CWR.[2] She has worked on local and commercial radio stations since she was a teenager. Green has also worked for the Midlands Travel centre, providing travel news for over 30 radio stations and broadcaster live from an 'eye in the sky' plane. Green has taken part in various gardening and flower shows.[3]

Green joined BBC WM full time in 2002 and has presented a variety of daytime and early morning shows. In September 2023, Green launched ‘The Happy Garden Podcast’ alongside gardening expert Darren Rudge.[4]

Green is a volunteer for the Battery Hen Welfare Trust, in which she has rescued and re-homed thousands of battery chickens over the years.[5]

In July 2023, Green took part in strike action as part of proposed cuts to BBC Local Radio services.[6]
