Madhavi Shankar (born 13 January 1990) is an Indian woman entrepreneur, she is the Co-founder and CEO of the SpaceBasic Inc, an EdTech Company.[1][2][3]

Early life and career

Shankar's early schooling was in Dubai before her family moved back to Bangalore, India and she graduated from National Public School, Bangalore.[4]

Madhavi graduated from the University of Sydney with a Master of Engineering Management (2014) and a Master of Business Administration (2015).[5]

Madhavi is two time TEDx speaker[6] a member of the advisory board for the computer science department at the CMR Institute of Technology in Bangalore, India, a member of the Forbes Technology Council.[7]

In 2019, she spoke as a youth representative for India at the United Nations in Geneva as part of the UNITAR initiative.[8]

She was named in Forbes under 30 2020 Asia list.[9][10] In 2019, the Indian government and the United Nations named her one of the 30 Women Transforming India.[11]
