Lubiano is a village in the Vitoria area, Álava, Basque Country, Spain. Its population was 34 in 2022, consisting of 17 men and 17 women.[1]

Lubiano was first mentioned and recorded as Luviano in 1025, and referenced again as Luviano in 1257. It was added to the Vitoria Locality in 1332.[2]

Geography

Located in the northeast corner of town at the foot of Mount Iturriaga (625 m). The environmental make-up consists of large oak groves and swamps.[3] The village is built over clay loam.[2]
