Lemon Tree is a 2023 American short film directed by Rachel Walden[1] and produced by Pauline Chalamet.[2] The seventeen-minute short was shot on Kodak film[3] and stars actor Gordon Rocks, who plays a teenager whose father (Charlie Chaspooley Robinson) steals a rabbit at a carnival. After its premiere at Cannes Directors' Fortnight,[4][5][6] the film has been presented in numerous international film festivals, including the Stockholm Film Festival and the Ghent International Film Festival.

Plot

A young father steals a magician's rabbit at a Halloween carnival to impress his son. The thrill of the petty theft quickly dissipates when the son is tasked with getting himself, his new pet and his father home.[7]
