Land reclamation in Bahrain refers to the process of creating land that is ecologically sustainable and green from previously deserted areas in Bahrain.

The main Bahrain Island is about 990 square kilometres (380 sq mi); however, it took less than two decades for the coastal zone of Bahrain to increase by about 40 square kilometres (15 sq mi). This added land has been dredged from the seabed in massive land reclamation projects.[1]
