Jefferson Township is an inactive township in Johnson County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1]

Jefferson Township was established in 1835, taking its name from President Thomas Jefferson.[2]Jefferson Township covers an area of approximately 36.8 square miles (95.3 square kilometers). The topography consists of rolling hills, agricultural land, and rural residential areas.
