James Fergus Wyatt, FRSA (26 February 1967 - 27 March 2023[1]), commonly known as Jim Wyatt, was a British illustrator and army veteran.

Wyatt was born and grew up in Coventry, where he attended Finham Park School. In 1998 he graduated with a degree in Graphic Design/illustration from Staffordshire University.[2]

Army career

He was born on 26 February 1967 in Coventry.[1] Wyatt served with the Blues and Royals as part of the household cavalry. He later went on to work for the 15 Psychological Operations Group.[3]

Later life

After leaving the army, Wyatt established PocketComms using his skills as a graphics artist and illustrator to develop a communications tool based on his experience working overseas.[4][5]

Death

Wyatt died following an accident on 27 March 2023 and a celebration of his life was held at Canley Crematorium, Coventry on 27 April.[1]
