Hussain Mohamed Latheef (Dhivehi: ހުސައިން މުހައްމަދު ލަތީފް; born 19 November 1979), commonly known as Sembe (Dhivehi: ސެމްބެ),[1] is a Maldivian politician who is currently serving as vice president of the Maldives since 2023.[2] He was a member of the People's Majlis for Fares-Maathodaa from 2014 to 2023.[3] He was elected vice president as the running mate of Mohamed Muizzu in the 2023 presidential election.[4]
