Harpenden and Berkhamstead is a proposed constituency of the House of Commons in the UK Parliament.[1] Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, it will first be contested at the next general election.
Contents
The constituency will comprise the following areas:
- Harpenden, Redbourn, Sandridge and Wheathampstead, transferred from Hitchin and Harpenden (to be renamed Hitchin)
- Berkhamsted and Tring, transferred from South West Hertfordshire
- A sparsely populated rural area connecting the above two areas, transferred from Hemel Hempstead
