It is found in Russia, Japan and Taiwan.[2]Adult Eupithecia daemionata moths are relatively small, with a wingspan ranging from about 16 to 20 millimeters. They have narrow, elongated wings that are usually grayish or brownish in color. The wings often display various patterns and markings, including wavy lines and faint spots. These moths typically inhabit open grassy areas, heathlands, and meadows. They can be found in both lowland and upland regions, depending on the geographical location.
