Collaborating Harmony: Dwiki Dharmawan (sometimes simply referred as Collaborating Harmony) is the first tribute album by Dwiki Dharmawan released by Sony Music in 2014 to commemorate his tricenary. It contains twelve tracks that are mostly cover versions of Dharmawan's songs, including the lead single "Imaji" sung by Shena Malsiana, which previously released on 20 December 2013.[2][3]
Background
Dharmawan reveal the album for the first time in an interview at FX Sudirman. Before the tribute album was released, Dharmawan began explaining which music genre heard by adolescents.[4] The title Collaborating Harmony tells Dharmawan's musical journey in Indonesian music for the last three decades.[5] From most of his songs, he chose twelve to be sung by young singers. He said it originally had thirty tracks, then shrunk to twenty as an official from Sony Music announced and finally shrunk to nine in which representing songs' harmony and theme, including songs by Krakatau and movie soundtracks. He also wrote three new songs, "Lamalera's Dream", "We Are Many We Are One", and "Kerinduanku" ("My Longing").[6] It was preceded by the album's pre-release cover version "Imaji" sung by Shena Malsiana, released on 20 December 2013. The album itself released digitally on 6 February, followed by the physical release on 25 February.[6]
