Background

Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Myers was raised in Prescott Valley.[4] She has written her parents "were alcoholics and drug addicts with undiagnosed and untreated mental health issues."[5]

She is a member of the Kiowa and Wichita tribes.[6][5]
