Black Elvis 2 is the twenty-first solo studio album by American hip hop musician Kool Keith. It was released on June 16, 2023 through Mello Music Group. Recording sessions took place at Beloved Music Studios at TME PRO. Production was handled by Marc Live, Raaddrr Van, J. Stylez, L’Orange, and Kool Keith, who also served as executive producer together with Michael Tolle and Erik Perry. It features guest appearances from Marc Live, Raaddrr Van, Agallah, Dynamite and Ice-T. The concept album is a sequel to his 1999 Black Elvis/Lost in Space.[3][4]

Reception

Editors at AllMusic rated this album 4 out of 5 stars, with critic Paul Simpson writing that this album is "a little less chrome-plated than its predecessor", the experimental Black Elvis/Lost in Space, but it "is some of Keith's most successful work in ages, recapturing some of the magic of his '90s peak".[1]
