The Bhesad Mata Temple is a sixth century temple dedicated to the Goddess Bhesad Mata built by King Harsh.[1] This temple is built in the Khejarla village of Bilara Tehsil in the Jodhpur district, Rajasthan. Today it is a major center of faith in the entire state including the ancient temple area.[2] This temple is considered to be one of the most sacred places of worship in the region.[3] The ancient idol of Mataji is present in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple where people visit her and receive her blessings.[4]
