Bashir Ahmed Khan is a Pakistani politician who was a member of the Gilgit Baltistan Assembly. He was also the Leader of the Opposition in the Gilgit Baltistan Assembly from November 2009 to June 2015.[1][2]
Political career
Bashir contested the 2009 Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly election on 12 November 2009 from GBA-15 (Diamer-I) as an candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (Q). He won the election by the margin of 925 votes over the Muttahida Qaumi Movement runner up Haji Shah Baig. He garnered 2,678 votes while Baig received 1,753 votes.[3][4]
