Bahal Raja Tua Tambunan BEnGL (Indonesian: [bˈahə͡l tˈambʌnən]; born 23 February 1974) is an Indonesian geologist who served as a senior member for the AAPG. In 2001, he collaborated with professors from Harvard University and NASA on a featured journal about geothermal reservoir characterization. He is currently employed to Eni S.p.A, an Italian multinational oil and gas company with operations in 43 countries.[1]

Career

Tambunan began his career as a geologist at Agip, an Italian oil and gas company, in 1997. He has worked on various oil and gas projects in Indonesia and internationally with companies such as Shell, Chevron, and Total.[2] Tambunan has published several articles in the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) journals and conferences and graduated from the Bandung Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in geology.[3][1]
