Bánh dẻo sâm dứa

Bánh dẻo is one of two types of bánh trung thu eaten during the Tết Trung Thu of Vietnamese people, besides bánh nướng.[2][3]

Ingredient

Bánh dẻo đậu xanh trứng muối (bánh dẻo filled with green beans and salted eggs)
Bánh dẻo rau câu nhân sữa

Traditional sticky rice crust is clear white in color, using glutinous rice flour that has been roasted and ground then sifted finely (sometimes a portion of corn starch or flour can be added); sugar water, grapefruit perfume, a little bit of odorless, light colored cooking oil. Traditional bánh dẻo filling often uses green bean (or lotus seed) paste made into a thick puree (possibly with salted egg), but now the fillings are much more diverse.[4][5]
