The Australian Communist Party (ACP) is a Marxist-Leninist[4] political party in Australia, it split from the Communist Party of Australia in 2019 due to altercations between party members, as well as disagreement with united front tactics and policies surround the Australian Labor Party.[5] The Australian Communist Party has not yet participated in electoral politics. The Australian Communist Party's newspaper is titled 'The Militant Worker'.[6]

The Australian Communist Party runs many of its services such as its street kitchens through the Community Union Defense League, their mutual aid partner organisation.[7]

The Australian Communist Party is currently organising a public housing campaign in its New South Wales and Victoria branches.[8]
