Anthony Miranda is an American police officer and New York City Sheriff appointed in 2022 by Mayor Eric Adams.[1][2] Miranda previously served as a sergeant and detective in the New York City Police Department. After retiring from the Police Department, he co-founded and served as the executive chairman of the National Latino Officers Association.
