Ali Ihusaan is a Maldivian politician who serves as the minister of Ministry of Homeland Security and Technology.[1] On 17 November 2023, he was appointed as Home minister of Maldives by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. He also served as members of Maldives Monetary Authority, central bank of Maldives.[2]
Early life and education
Ihusan obtained a bachelor's degree in the United States from Military Strategic Defence and Information Technology. He completed a master's degree in Singapore and did further air-borne trainings with the US military.[3]
Career
Ihusaan served at Maldives National Defence Force until he voluntarily retired on 2017. He retires as captain. After that he enters politics in 2021 and joined Maldives National Party (MNP).[4] He raises concern over establishment of Indian consulate in Maldives.[5]
