The 81st Golden Globe Awards will honor the best in film and American television of 2023. The ceremony will be held on January 7, 2024, from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, produced by Dick Clark Productions, Ricky Kirshner, and Glenn Weiss; the latter will also serve as director.[1][2][3] The ceremony will air live in the United States on CBS and streamed on Paramount+.[1]
The nominees will be announced on December 11, 2023.[4]
Ceremony information
On September 26, 2023, it was announced that two new categories will be added for the upcoming ceremony: "Cinematic and Box Office Achievement" and "Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television" (also known as "Best Stand-Up Comedian on Television").[5] This decision has received backlash from some media outlets.[6][7][8]
