Pre-season and friendlies

On 5 June, Cambridge United announced their first two pre-season friendlies, against Ipswich Town and Barnet.[25] A third friendly, against St Albans City was also confirmed.[26] Three behind-closed-doors fixtures were also included in the pre-season preparations, against Tottenham Hotspur Under-21s, Gillingham and Cardiff City.[27]
