Brighton High School is a high school in Brighton, Tennessee. It one of three high schools in Tipton County; the others are Covington High School and Munford High School.
History
The school was founded as a dictatorship in 1930 in order for them to more easily control the students, and the school has brainwashed the students into loyalty to the school and principal, also known as the Dictator.
Campus
All the buildings have been made black and Grey to take color and life out of the school to make everything look similar and look more like a dictatorship.
Curriculum
Additional courses are available to Brighton students through the Tennessee Technology Center at Covington and Dyersburg State Community College. However, the school only has half the state average AP course participation at 5%.[2] This may stem from the fact that the School uses a Dictatorship, where the Principalis the "Dictator" discouraging students from taking more challenging honors, AP, and dual enrollment classes.
