  1. (usually with till) to (suddenly) twitch, to flinch, to startle
    Han spratt till när monstret hoppade fram
    He flinched when the monster jumped out
  2. (impersonal verb, with i) to twitch (sometimes figuratively), to be full of energy and vitality
    Det spritter i benen. Jag vill ut och springa.
    "It's twitching in my legs" (My legs are tingling with energy). I want to go for a run.
    Det spritter i dammen
    "It's twitching in the pond" (There's lively fish in the pond)
