blésti impf

1. (intransitive) to talk confusedly because of a sickness

   Bolnik blede, da pada v luknjo. ― A patient is talking confusedly that he is falling into a hole.

2. (intransitive, derogatory) to talk^[→SSKJ]
3. (intransitive, reflexive) to hallucinate
4. (intransitive, reflexive, derogatory) to be stupid (see usage notes)

   A se ti blede? ― Are you stupid?

In the third sense, the meaning "to be stupid" only means temporarily, e.g. when someone says something stupid. To denote that one is always stupid, biti neumen is used.
