Invēnit eum ad rīpam flūminis expositum fīlia Pharaōnis, quem colligēns adoptāvit sibi.- Then 'Moses' is interpreted as 'taken out of water'. The daughter of the Pharaoh found him abandoned on the bank of the river and adopted him.
