Usage notes

Unicode does not encode this glyph directly. It may be typeset with a combining solidus, as above. However, font support is poor. It is officially produced with a variation selector: In a supporting font, zero plus ︀ will produce zero with a short solidus overlay, and ∅ with the same selector will produce zero with a long solidus overlay. In addition, fonts may support these forms through internal style selectors or character variants.
