     ܗ̇ܘ ܡܘܼܕܹܐ ܠܹܗ ܘܠܵܐ ܣܪܝܼܒ݂ ܠܹܗ ܒܹܐ݇ܡܵܪܵܐ: «ܐܵܢܵܐ ܠܹܐ ܝܘܸܢ ܡܫܝܼܚܵܐ».

     awa mūdē lēh w-lā srīḇ lēh bēmārā: “ānā lē ìwen mšīḥā”.

     He confessed, and did not deny saying: “I am not the Christ.”

   • Romans 10:9:

     if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

     ܐܵܘܕܹܝܡܘܼܢ ܠܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܡܸܛܠ ܛܵܒ݂ܵܐ ܝܠܹܗ، ܠܥܵܠܲܡ ܝܼܠܵܗ̇ ܛܲܝܒܘܼܬ݂ܹܗ.

     āwdēmūn l-māryā miṭṭul ṭāḇā ìlēh, l-ˁālam īlāh ṭaybūṯēh.

     Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever

   • Psalms 118:28:
