неќе
Macedonian
Etymology
A negated form of the verb *ќе (*ḱe) that is now defective and only used as a future aspect participle as ќе (ḱe). Cognate with Bulgarian ща (šta) and Serbo-Croatian hteti, ultimately from Proto-Slavic *xъtěti. Perceived as a contraction of не (ne) + сака (saka).
