Sagoo (also spelled Saggu) is the 8th-largest clan of Jatt Sikh people of Punjab. They are the descendants of Baba Saggu, a 13th-century saint and warrior. Its members mainly live in the Punjab region of India and Pakistan, including the Sargodha and Lahore districts of Pakistan, and in Majha and Malwa in India. They also reside in the Indian states of Haryana and Rajasthan, and also abroad in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Africa, New Zealand, and Dubai. Most members are Sikh, while a minority follow Hinduism and Islam. As of the 1881 census of British India, there were 7,912 Saggu families
